Hello, I’m Jenna, a dedicated Educational Psychologist with a deep appreciation of the uniquely complex and interconnected systems that influence human development and well-being across the lifespan.
Often people, whether children, adolescents or adults, experience the world in ways that can be difficult to put into words. Through play, stories, and connection, I help people express their emotions, process their experiences, and build the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges. Whether an individual is struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, or social difficulties, my goal is to create a space where they feel understood, supported, and empowered.
I work closely with neurodivergent individuals, those who have experienced loss or trauma, people navigating relationship or parenting challenges, and those who find it difficult to express themselves in traditional ways. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic and attachment-based principles, integrating play therapy, talk therapy, and evidence-based interventions to meet each individual’s needs. I also offer school readiness, psycho-educational, and career and subject choice assessments.
I obtained my Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand and completed my internship at Ububele, an NPO committed to improving the emotional development and well-being of children and their families in Alexandra township. There I worked with people at different stages of life, from infants and children to adolescents and adults, supporting them through trauma, relationships and life transitions.
Seeking support for yourself, your child, or family is a big decision, and it’s okay to have questions. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where we can explore what you and your family need to thrive. If you’re ready to take that step, I’d love to connect and explore how we can work together.
